Thank you for volunteering to be a Crew Leader for Rainforest Falls VBS! Here's everything you need to know about training.
CREW LEADER TRAINING IS MANDATORY!
Training
- When: July 26th from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Where: Immanuel United Methodist Church - 401 W. Fond Du Lac St. - Ripon, WI 54971
- Snacks will be provided.
- Thank you for volunteering to be a Crew Leader for Rainforest Falls VBS!
What Do The Crew Leaders Do?
- Greet kids in your assigned pew
- Keep them safe and together as you travel from “activity-to-activity” (4 total)
- Help the activity leaders
- At closing, hand out anything to go home, help them to their car group and collect name tags
- FAMILY NIGHT – you eat early and help set-up and/or run the family activities!

- How to lead a small group in the Rainforest Falls wilderness
- Safety procedures and protocols
- How to teach Bible lessons in an engaging way
- Managing group dynamics and behavior
- Games and activities to keep children engaged
- How to support children with special needs
- Emergency procedures
- Daily schedule and routines
